Méthode Cap Classique

2013 Méthode Cap Classique

Blanc de noir

  • 100% Pinot Noir

  • Stellenbosch, South Africa

  • 12 year old Pinot Noir vineyard, situated on south and east facing slopes between 200 and 290m above sea level consisting of decomposed granite and loam soils.

  • This limited release, Vintage, Brut Pinot Noir, Méthode Cap Classique—sparkling wine, spent 24 months maturing on the lees after secondary fermentation. The fine, lively bubbles, emphasized by the light honey hue, each burst into an array of berry, citrus and tropical fruit flavors that linger onto a light marzipan finish. The crisp and refreshing acid, balanced with opulent fruit and a light biscuitiness make this MCC an excellent welcome drink, fine aperitif and fantastic celebratory fizz.

  • This wine compliments a wide variety of fish, spicy and Mediterranean dishes but also drinks excellently on its own.

  • Alc.11.50, RS 1.59g/l, pH 3.2, TA 6.0 g/l
